Evaluation of Hotel Demand Forecasting Techniques

Abstract:
Although accurate demand forecasting is one of the most critical component of any revenue management application, it has not received enough attention. This presentation starts with an overview of the hotel revenue management and continues with the commonly used demand forecasting techniques and compares their performances based on real-world hotel booking data.
