About Utku

I am currently developing cutting-edge pricing and revenue management solutions at Prorize, a modeling company that uses scientific data-driven procedures to achieve profit growth in several industries, including gaming, multi-family housing, and high-tech manufacturing.

Prior to joining Prorize, I was a member of the Revenue and Profit Management Department at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, which is responsible for the development and deployment of revenue management solutions. I was responsible for generating modeling as well as related analytics for a variety of business problems including, but not limited to, merchandise pricing, hotel and restaurant revenue management, internet advertisement inventory and revenue management.

I received my Ph.D. degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. I specialized in evaluating stability of the Multiclass Queuing networks and maximization of revenue through queuing theory as well as hotel and airline revenue management problems.
